FieldNotes: Specimen feeding in profusely blooming narrow-leafed Ohia Lehua.
Remarks: Odor typical of Drepanididae, ectoparasites White mites from all over plumage & longer JK [?] mites from wings & tail, endoparasites slender, small Cestoda in intestins. Skin S.O. completely but not very densely. Stomach contents small insects. Yellow
