Comments: =Opukai (MacCaughey & Emerson, 1913); Leaf stem is similar in coloring to the salt-water oopu, being yellow green with dark purple markings. Corms used as table taro; leaves for luau. Grown chiefly in uplands of Kona, Hawaii (Pukui & Elbert, 1986).
